Fountain-Fort Carson extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Da'Kari Releford Jr. The Trojans walked away with a 24-17 victory over the Regis Jesuit Raiders on Thursday with plenty of help from Releford Jr, who rushed for 170 yards and two TDs. Releford Jr is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 106 every time he's taken the field this season.

Despite the defeat, Regis Jesuit saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cade Filleman made 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss). Colt Jones got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Fountain-Fort Carson's record is now 6-1. As for Regis Jesuit, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Fountain-Fort Carson will venture away from home to challenge Legend at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' defense better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 46.7 points per game this season. As for Regis Jesuit, they will head out on the road to square off against Douglas County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Huskies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.86 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
