Fountain-Fort Carson had won two straight home games and Da'Kari Releford Jr did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Trojans came out on top against the Regis Jesuit Raiders by a score of 24-17 for which the team can thank Releford Jr, who rushed for 170 yards and two TDs. Releford Jr is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 106 every time he's taken the field this season.

Despite the loss, Regis Jesuit still got an impressive performance from Luke Rubley, who threw for 259 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 38 yards. Colt Jones was in the mix as well, providing the Raiders with one score.

Fountain-Fort Carson's record now sits at 6-1. As for Regis Jesuit, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Fountain-Fort Carson will take on Legend at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Regis Jesuit, they will square off against Douglas County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Huskies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.86 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
