Basketball Game Preview: Quemado Eagles vs. Reserve Mountaineers

The Quemado Eagles will head out to square off against the Reserve Mountaineers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Quemado is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 60 points on Thursday, they were much more limited against Cliff on Saturday. They lost 52-30 to the Cowboys/Cowgirls. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Reserve, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Hondo Valley by a score of 62-52 on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Mountaineers considering their 25-point performance the contest before.

Reserve's win bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Quemado, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.

Everything came up roses for Quemado against Reserve in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 65-25 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Quemado since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
