Baseball Game Preview: Okeechobee Brahmans vs. Clewiston Tigers

The Okeechobee Brahmans will head out on the road to square off against the Clewiston Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Saturday, Okeechobee came up short against St. Albans and fell 6-3.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Clewiston ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They had just enough and edged out LaBelle 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Graysen Redish and Jackson Mann made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Redish tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Mann struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Redish has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances. At bat, Redish went 3-for-4 with one RBI, while Mann got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was William Bussott, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Clewiston's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Okeechobee, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Okeechobee took their win against Clewiston in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Okeechobee since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
