Last Friday, Central Bucks East was able to grind out a solid victory over Pennsbury, taking the game 58-45. Given Central Bucks East's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Pennsbury is ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Neshaminy strolled past Souderton with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 53-39.
Neshaminy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Max Currie, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Meehan, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Central Bucks East's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Neshaminy, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
