Soccer Game Preview: Lake Washington vs. Redmond

Lake Washington hasn't had much luck against Redmond recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Kangaroos will take on the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Thursday, Lake Washington didn't have quite enough to beat Skyline and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, Redmond fell victim to Mount Si and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Redmond can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 79th, while Mount Si are ranked 16th).

Redmond dropped their record down to 5-7-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Lake Washington, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-7-2.

Lake Washington might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Redmond when the teams last played last Tuesday. Can the Kangaroos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
