It was a proper cat-fight when Orangefield faced off against Buna on Friday. The Orangefield Bobcats were the clear victor by a 68-46 margin over the Buna Cougars. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Buna had strong showings from Kaleigh Humble, who posted nine points and eight rebounds, and Kamryn Jurik, who scored seven points and five boards. What's more, Humble also racked up two assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

Orangefield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Buna, their record now sits at 20-13.

Orangefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Buna, they will challenge Warren at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Warren will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Buna surely won't give up without a fight.
