Basketball Recap: Purdy Comes Up Short

Purdy fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Crane on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 77-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crane Pirates. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Purdy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Crane, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Purdy will host Lockwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crane, they will venture away from home to challenge Lighthouse Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
