Baseball Recap: Enterprise Comes Up Short

Enterprise and Taylorsville squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Enterprise had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tartars, falling 9-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their meetings with the Tartars: they've now lost three in a row.

Enterprise saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kelly Burgess, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Enterprise's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Taylorsville, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-10.

While Enterprise had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
