While Kilgore didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-31), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Union Grove Lions on Thursday. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Kilgore has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Union Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Kilgore and Union Grove will both be playing Overton the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lions will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
