Basketball Recap: St. Francis Comes Up Short

St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt an 80-44 defeat at the hands of the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets. The game marked the Fighting Saints' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cambridge-Isanti, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Francis and Kasson-Mantorville will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Francis is facing Kasson-Mantorville at the right time seeing as Kasson-Mantorville is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Cambridge-Isanti, they will face off against Denfeld at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Denfeld knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Cambridge-Isanti likes a good challenge.
