Basketball Recap: Warrensburg Takes a Loss

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-39, which was the final score in the Warrensburg Tigers's tilt against the Greenwood Blue Jays on Saturday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Warrensburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Greenwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Warrensburg and St. Michael the Archangel will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. St. Michael the Archangel has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 197 points over their last three games. As for Greenwood, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mansfield at 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
