Softball Recap: Rigby's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Rigby managed to slip by Highland the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Trojans came up short against the Rams on Friday, falling 13-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Trojans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Samantha Bishop was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Jensen, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Rigby's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-14. As for Highland, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Rigby nor Highland have any future games scheduled.
