Basketball Recap: Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy Takes a Loss

Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Peninsula Catholic on Friday. The Stars took a hard 56-42 fall against the Knights. The Stars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Peninsula Catholic to victory were Zyon McGlone and Jordan Carr. McGlone posted 18 points, while Carr had 18 points. Those 18 points gave Carr a new career-high.

Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-2.

Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Riverside Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 8. As for Peninsula Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-55 win against Virginia Episcopal School on the 15th.
