Volleyball Recap: Centennial Wins Going Away Against King

Centennial hadn't done well against King recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Huskies blew past the Wolves 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Centennial not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept King between 19 and 21 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 25-20.

Axel Ledford paced Centennial's offense, picking up 15 kills. Ledford got some help from Joshua Barrientos and his 29 assists. Ledford was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

The win got Centennial back to even at 13-13. As for King, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.
