Volleyball Recap: TEACH Homeschool Beach Breakers vs. Denbigh Baptist Christian Minutemen
TEACH Homeschool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Denbigh Baptist Christian Minutemen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Beach Breakers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18.
TEACH Homeschool's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Denbigh Baptist Christian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.
TEACH Homeschool will be playing at home against Cape Henry Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Denbigh Baptist Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win vs. Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association on the 14th.
