Baseball Recap: Eastside Rams vs. Hawthorne Hornets
Eastside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Hawthorne Hornets, falling 20-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 two weeks ago.
Eastside saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Rozier, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance gave Rozier a new career-high in stolen bases. Christopher Chircop also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

As for Hawthorne, they will challenge Saint Francis Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hawthorne is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
