Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Columbus Mcgrew and Bibash Rai Lead Moore to Victory

Moore's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the North Bullitt Eagles 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Moore never let North Bullitt on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 26-24.

Moore was led to victory by Bibash Rai and Columbus McGrew. Rai had four aces and two assists, while McGrew had six digs, five kills, and two aces. That's the most assists Rai has posted since back in April of 2024.

The win got Moore back to even at 1-1. As for North Bullitt, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moore will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on April 8. As for North Bullitt, they will head out to challenge Franklin County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
