Baseball Recap: Shelley Comes Up Short

Shelley couldn't beat Hillcrest on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Russets lost 16-6 to the Knights. The Russets haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Shelley now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Hillcrest, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3-2.

Coincidentally, Shelley and Hillcrest will both be playing Blackfoot the next time they take the field. The Knights will head out to face the Broncos at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Russets will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
