Central Valley put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 46-0 victory over the Burwell Longhorns. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Cougars had established a 32-point advantage.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than William Pokorny, who rushed for 59 yards and one touchdown. Those 59 rushing yards gave Pokorny a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lincoln Nekoliczak, who threw for 110 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 78.6% of his passes.
