Volleyball Recap: Taylor Thomas and Elleana Bejarano Secure Win for Verrado

Verrado's tournament run continued when they took on Monument Valley on Friday. The Vipers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mustangs.

Verrado was led to victory by Elleana Bejarano and Taylor Thomas. Bejarano had 19 digs and two assists, while Thomas had eight digs and one assist. Those 19 digs gave Bejarano a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Monument Valley lost, don't look at Hailey Etsiity. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and two aces.

Verrado's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Monument Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-5.
