Rio Mesa not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 20th. Everything went their way against the Pacifica Tritons as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Tritons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

While Rio Mesa won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21, 25-23.

Rio Mesa now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Pacifica, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rio Mesa will take on rival Buena at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pacifica is set to square off against their familiar foe Ventura at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
