Basketball Recap: Hernando Comes Up Short

Hernando was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Olive Branch Conquistadors and fell 84-55. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Conquistadors are ranked 12th).

Hernando's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Olive Branch, they pushed their record up to 19-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

While Hernando had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
