Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goleman). They put the hurt on the Dr. Krop Lightning with a sharp 24-1 win on Friday. The Gators have beaten the Lightning the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lightning has come to flipping the script.

Britney Cintas was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Olivia Mata, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Goleman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.

Goleman picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-8. As for Dr. Krop, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Goleman and Dr. Krop will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time Goleman sees the field they'll take on American at 3:30 p.m. on April 1. As for Dr. Krop, their break will end when they face Southwest at 4:00 p.m. on April 2.
