Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goleman). They put the hurt on the Dr. Krop Lightning with a sharp 24-1 win on Friday. The Gators have beaten the Lightning the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lightning has come to flipping the script.
Britney Cintas was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Olivia Mata, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
