Volleyball Recap: North Mac Takes a Loss

North Mac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Litchfield Purple Panthers. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Purple Panthers earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

While North Mac had to take the loss, they sure made a game of it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15.

North Mac's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Litchfield, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-14.

Looking ahead, North Mac will venture away from home to take on Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Litchfield, they will welcome Mt. Olive at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
