Rampart entered their tilt with Doherty on Thursday with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. They blew past the Spartans 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Rampart was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13, 25-11.

Rampart can attribute much of their success to Kylie Glenn, who had 17 assists and four aces. Those four aces gave Glenn a new career-high. Ariana Clarose was another key player, getting ten digs and one assist.

They weren't the only good servers: Rampart was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Rampart's record now sits at 13-1. As for Doherty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
