Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gordonsville). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Jackson County Blue Devils 48-7. The win was just business as usual for the Tigers, who after six games remain undefeated this season.

A big part of Gordonsville's victory came down to the chemistry between J Foster and his top target Camrix Stott. Foster threw for 268 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes while Stott picked up 155 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Those 155 receiving yards gave Stott a new career-high. Another player making a difference was JT Summers, who rushed for 57 yards and one TD on only five carries.

Gordonsville's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Jackson County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Gordonsville has already played their next game, a 41-0 victory against Westmoreland on the 3rd. As for Jackson County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-14 win against Trousdale County on the 3rd.
