Basketball Recap: Indian Land Warriors vs. Great Falls Red Devils

Indian Land had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed by the Great Falls Red Devils to the tune of 79-47. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Michael Jones had an outrageously good game as he went 7 for 17 en route to 17 points plus four steals. His evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brent Michael Terrell, who had eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Indian Land was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2023.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indian Land and Andrew Jackson will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Great Falls, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Governor's School for Science & Math at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
