Central Catholic is 10-0 against Sierra since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Central Catholic Raiders will be playing at home against the Sierra Timberwolves at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Central Catholic is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Pitman just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a hard 68-51 fall against the Pride. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 448th, while the Pride are ranked 111th).

Meanwhile, Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 58-40 bruising from Manteca.

Central Catholic now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Sierra, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Central Catholic was able to grind out a solid victory over Sierra when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 61-48. Does Central Catholic have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sierra turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
