Volleyball Recap: St. Augustine Takes a Loss

St. Augustine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Fleming Island Golden Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Yellow Jackets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

St. Augustine's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Fleming Island, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Coincidentally, St. Augustine and Fleming Island will both be playing Spruce Creek the next time they take the court. The Yellow Jackets will head out to face the Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Golden Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
