Basketball Recap: Heber Springs Comes Up Short

Heber Springs lost to Pulaski Academy back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 59-58 to the Bruins.

Heber Springs has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points over those games. As for Pulaski Academy, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Heber Springs will take on rival Morrilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pulaski Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Central Arkansas Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
