Volleyball Recap: Central Bears vs. Crystal River Pirates
Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crystal River Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-14.
Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Crystal River, their victory bumped their record up to 11-13.
Central will challenge Land O' Lakes at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Crystal River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
