Baseball Recap: Pickerington North Comes Up Short

Pickerington North fell victim to New Albany and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Keegan Reuscher was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero).

On the hitting side, Pickerington North saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nic Markle, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Pickerington North's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for New Albany, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
