Basketball Recap: Theodore Takes a Loss

Theodore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 63-51 to the Williamson Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 73-42 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2019.

Theodore's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Williamson, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Theodore will head out to face off against Fairhope at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fairhope is on a four-game streak of home wins, Theodore a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Williamson, they will welcome McGill-Toolen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Williamson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully McGill-Toolen likes a good challenge.
