Volleyball Recap: Jordan-Matthews Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jordan-Matthews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwood Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 16-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Jordan-Matthews' record is now 4-15. As for Northwood, their victory ended a ten-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-13.

Jordan-Matthews and Northwood could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Jets will challenge Southwestern Randolph at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (465 vs. 133). Meanwhile, Northwood (ranked 420th) will meet North Moore (ranked 192nd) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
