Dover entered their tilt with New Philadelphia on Wednesday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They put the hurt on the Quakers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory last Tuesday.

Dover's got stronger as the match went on, holding New Philadelphia to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17, 25-14.

Caroline Hanner paced Dover's offense, picking up 17 kills. Hanner got some help from Quincey Werntz and her 37 assists. Hailey Kuecher and Chera Schmidt kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Dover's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for New Philadelphia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Dover and Tri-Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Philadelphia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
