Ottawa and Lemont squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Ottawa had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lemont HS by a score of 4-2. The Pirates' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Ottawa's loss dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Lemont, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-10 record this season.

Ottawa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lemont, they will take on Providence Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Celtics will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Lemont HS surely won't give up without a fight.
