Volleyball Recap: Chelsea Wins Going Away Against Pelham + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Helena, Chelsea was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Pelham Panthers 3-0. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Hornets this season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chelsea took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-10.

Among those leading the charge was Aly Davis, who had eight aces and four digs. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high.

Davis wasn't the only good servers: Chelsea was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive contests.

The win snapped Chelsea's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-14 record. As for Pelham, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 12-20.
