Volleyball Recap: Riverside Falls Short of University in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Riverside can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the University Trailblazers on Thursday. The Argonauts were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trailblazers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

University can attribute much of their success to Quinlan Litke, who had five digs and four aces. Litke is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served four or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Riverside has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for University, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-16.

Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for University, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter on the 18th.
