Wayland lost against Lincoln-Sudbury back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. Wayland fell  3-1 to Lincoln-Sudbury. Wayland's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 16-25, 25-20,  25-17.
 Lincoln-Sudbury found their leader in freshman  Mila Gottesman, who  had nine  digs and four  aces.  Gianna Napoli also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  block of the season.
Wayland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record  this season.
 Wayland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-1  loss against Belmont on the 17th. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, they have also already played their next matchup,  a  3-1  win against Hopkinton on the 17th.
