Basketball Game Preview: Sequatchie County Indians vs. Meigs County Tigers

Sequatchie County hasn't had much luck against Meigs County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Sequatchie County Indians will face off against the Meigs County Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Sequatchie County will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Sequatchie County beat Tyner Academy 40-32.

Meigs County has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-52 heartbreaker at the hands of Tellico Plains.

Sequatchie County's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.9 points over those games. As for Meigs County, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-10.
