The Sudan Hornets are taking a road trip to  face off against the Hale Center Owls  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Sudan will bounce into Tuesday's   matchup after  beating Ralls, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Sudan was the clear victor by  a  17-6 margin over Ralls on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Sudan let  Lillianna Sanchez and  Reyna Limon-Johnson run wild. Sanchez  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI, while  Limon-Johnson  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  Limon-Johnson a new career-high in  RBI (two). Another player making a difference was  Kalissa Harris, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI.
 Sudan  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .650. They are 10-1-1 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Hale Center got the win against New Deal  on Monday by a conclusive  14-3. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Owls.
 Miella Anguiano made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   nine  hits (and only one walk). The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-low in  walks (one). She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Hale Center got a  massive  performance out of  Alyssa Borunda, who  scored three  runs and  stole seven bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.  Bella Ruiz was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing seven bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Sudan's win was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 11-7-1. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Hale Center, their record is now 13-5.
 Sudan skirted past Hale Center  8-7 in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024. Does  Sudan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hale Center turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
