Basketball Recap: Delta Takes a Loss

Delta was the 74-69 winner over Southland when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Delta Chargers took a 67-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southland Rebels. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (55), the Chargers still had to take the loss.

Delta has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Southland, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Delta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 89-53 loss against St. Vincent on the 7th. Southland will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bell City at 7:30 p.m. on February 20th.
