It was a good run, but Fairhope unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Briarcrest Christian Saints.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Briarcrest Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sarah O'Connor, who had three digs and two blocks. O'Connor is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 40 games she's played dating back to last season. Sophie Loe was another key player, getting nine digs and two assists.

Fairhope's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Briarcrest Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Fairhope has already played their next matchup (against Baldwin County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Briarcrest Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Ocean Springs on the 23rd.
