Volleyball Recap: Wallowa Comes Up Short

Wallowa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dayville/Monument/Long Creek Tigers. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Wallowa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Dayville/Monument/Long Creek, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-13.

Wallowa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dayville/Monument/Long Creek, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Adrian on the 20th.
