Cy-Fair won the last time they faced Northbrook and Mia Romero did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bobcats blew past the Raiders 3-0 on Friday thanks in part to Romero, who had four digs and two aces. She has been hot, having also posted 13 or more assists the last seven times she's played.

One reason for the win was Cy-Fair's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-10.

When it comes to explaining why Northbrook lost, don't look at Jalene Carcamo. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and one assist.

The victory made it two in a row for Cy-Fair and bumps their season record up to 21-19. As for Northbrook, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-28.

Looking ahead, Cy-Fair will head out to take on Bellaire on Thursday. Northbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
