Bellarmine College Prep was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars by a score of 8-4. The Bells haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Bellarmine College Prep got several good pitching performances, but Ryder Suba was perhaps the best, striking out eight batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk).

On the hitting side, DJ Dunne was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ollie McNamara, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Bellarmine College Prep's record now sits at 4-2. As for San Lorenzo Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Bellarmine College Prep has already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Pioneer on the 14th. As for San Lorenzo Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against Franklin on the 15th.
