Volleyball Recap: Eno River Academy Wins High-Profile Contest Against Triangle Math & Science

Eno River Academy faced Triangle Math & Science in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out the Tigers 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in March.

Despite the loss, Triangle Math & Science had strong showings from Chris Lange, who had 17 assists and ten digs, and Shankara Dhamodaran, who had 12 digs. Lange is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season.

The win made it two in a row for Eno River Academy and bumps their season record up to 9-2. As for Triangle Math & Science, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

Looking ahead, Eno River Academy will square off against Orange at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Triangle Math & Science, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Christ the King on the 12th.
