Basketball Game Preview: Lake Stevens Vikings vs. Arlington Eagles

The Lake Stevens Vikings will head out to take on the Arlington Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Lake Stevens took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They put the hurt on Jackson with a sharp 53-30 win. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Arlington hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They breezed by Cascade to the tune of 58-9 on Friday.

Lake Stevens has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points over those games. As for Arlington, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.
