Baseball Recap: Hillsboro Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hillsboro's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Kennedale Wildcats on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Hillsboro's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Kennedale, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hillsboro and Kennedale will both be playing Godley the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
